Influenced by her big-city upbringing in Vancouver, BC and her love for the sounds of artists like Joni Mitchell, Ed Sheeran and John Mayer, Tessa’s brand of “urban country” explores a blend of country, folk and pop. Since the release of her debut EP in 2014, Tessa’s music has evolved with her maturing talent. Tessa, who studied at the Sarah McLachlan School of Music in Vancouver, won the international songwriting competition “Your Voice in the Park” at 14 years old. Now a published poet and TEDx speaker, the singer has performed on stages across British Columbia, Tennessee and even London, England. Some highlights include: the Massey Theatre, the Rio Theatre and Nashville’s esteemed Listening Room.

The singer, who splits her time between the west coast and Nashville, TN, aims to release new music in 2019.
